Heritage

Every region of India has its own ferment.

Long before anyone said "probiotic", fermented foods were part of everyday meals. They were easy to digest, kept well without a fridge, and fed the gut without anyone calling it that.

Six ways L. reuteri works in the gut.

Fights harmful microbes

Produces reuterin, which inhibits E. coli, Salmonella, C. difficile and H. pylori.

Strengthens the gut wall

Supports tight-junction proteins (ZO-1, occludin) and lowers intestinal permeability.

Calms inflammation

Helps balance Treg/Th17 cells, raising IL-10 and lowering TNF-α and IL-6.

Supports metabolism

Produces short-chain fatty acids and influences bile acid, lipid and glucose metabolism.

Talks to the brain

Produces GABA and is studied for effects on stress, anxiety and sleep.

Urogenital health

Helps keep vaginal microbiota balanced and inhibits uropathogens.

Vaginal and urinary tract health
Hormonal balance and menstrual well-being
Metabolic health, including PCOS management
Iron status, helping prevent anaemia
Bone health and osteoporosis prevention
Gut and skin health
